ScrollBreak
Who we are
ScrollBreak ("the App") is an iOS application developed and published by Richard Baecker ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the App handles. The short version: the App keeps your data on your device.
Data the App collects
We collect none. The App contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no user accounts, and does not communicate with any developer-operated server.
ScrollBreak is built around a zero-collection stance: no accounts, no analytics, no server. Screen-time coaching decisions, intercepts, ledgers and streaks are stored only on your device. Accountability pairing shares only streaks and weekly-goal status directly between paired devices through Apple-provided services (CloudKit). Screen Time API tokens Apple provides are opaque and cannot be read by anyone, including us.
Purchases
Purchases of the App's optional Pro upgrade are processed entirely by Apple through App Store In-App Purchase. We never see your payment details, your identity, or your purchase history beyond anonymous aggregate sales reports provided by Apple.
Children
The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect personal information at all.
Your rights
Because all data remains on your device under your control, deleting the App deletes your data. If you have questions, contact us at ror1994@gmail.com.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the App materially changes how information is handled, we will update this page and the App Store listing before that version ships.
